The Ranger series comprises 1 and 4 port USB extenders that use patented "ExtremeUSB" technology to transparently extend USB links up to 100m on Cat 5 cable or up to 500m on multimode fibre.
These products are the only USB extenders to be approved by the USB-IF (USB Implementers Forum) because of their high reliability and 100% transparent operation.

Ranger 110/410 models use Category 5 cable to extend links hence a standard Ethernet patch cable or existing building infrastructure cabling may be used.

Please note that power supplies are not included. Please add 2 x power supplies at time of order from the accessory list.

Ranger 422 is a 4 port version that uses multimode fibre to extend links and always requires power at both ends.
